Overlooking the bustling the Port of Los Angeles, the largest working port in the nation, this authentic New England-style seaside village encompasses 15 acres of shops, restaurants and attractions. A meandering promenade of cobblestone streets connects the specialty shops. The shops feature items and gifts from around the world. Enjoy a relaxing lunch or dinner at one of the many restaurants overlooking the harbor. You'll find good seafood here, most of it inexpensived and heaped hot onto plates, as well as fresh fish stacked on beds of ice at the markets. Don't hesitate to wave to the passing ships, so close that they dwarf the village.

Open daily. Free admission and parking.

Ports O' Call is the departure point for narrated Harbor Cruises. You will be enthralled with all there is to see and learn about San Pedro and the Port of Los Angeles. To get a bird's eye view of the harbor, consider a Helicopter Tour.

From January through March, take a Whale Watching Cruise, see California gray whales on their 6,000-mile migration from Alaska through the Catalina Channel to the waters of Baja to bear their young. On their return trip, the calves can frequently be seen swimming at their mothers' sides. San Pedro is the closest point on the Southern California coast from which to view these beautiful creatures.

Sport fishing boats leave daily from Ports O' Call, with rental equipment, bait, tackle and fishing licenses available.

Take a romantic sunset Dinner Dance Cruise, Midnight Champagne Cruise under the stars, or Weekend Champagne Brunch Cruise. Or bring a group of friends along for a Yacht Party on one of the many luxury sailing ships and motor vessels available for business entertainment, weddings and Catalina sailing cruises.

The Village is home to the annual Lobster Festival and other fun events. A short walk away is the Los Angeles Maritime Museum. Don't miss the new The Port of Los Angeles Waterfront Red Car Line. There is a Red Car station right across the street from Ports O'Call.
